My love of all things Disney began with my first trip to Disneyland when I was 7. Somewhere I have a picture of myself and my Grandmother with Peter Pan. My obsession with Disney began when my roommate and I decided to take a spur of the moment trip to Disneyland after watching the video of Peter Pan that my Grandmother gave me. We decided to move to Anaheim to be near Disneyland. I lived behind Disneyland for 3 years watching the fireworks every night.
I have been to Disneyland more times that I can count and my roommate worked there so I got all the inside scoop. My most memorable trip to Disneyland was taking my new Husband on our honeymoon. It was his first trip so he was like a kid in a candy store. After almost a year of planning, we took our first trip to Disney World last December. We stayed for 2 weeks and had the time of our lives. We plan to move there within a few years.
I graduated from Empire Travel & Tourism School in 1998. After taking a trip to Las Vegas with my class started my interest in the hospitality field. So, I moved from California to Las Vegas and got a job booking rooms for a hotel. I fell in love with the idea of helping people plan their trips. After 5 years, I transferred to another hotel and learned to book shows and restaurants as well as rooms.
When I came back from Disney World, I decided to put 2 and 2 together and pursue my career in travel, love of Disney and helping people plan their trips. So when I came across Monday and Magic of Mickey Travel, I decided it was the perfect time to become an independent travel agent. I am a 2010 graduate of The College of Disney Knowledge.
So, come with me, where dreams are born, and time is never planned. Just think of happy things, and your heart will fly on wings, forever, in Never Never Land.
